People-centric care solutions
Delivering behavioral health right where it’s needed
Due to a nationwide shortage, finding behavioral care can be challenging. There’s approximately one mental health provider for every 350 individuals in the United States, and an estimated 28% of adults do not receive the treatment they need, which can lead to additional physical or mental health complications.*
That's where we come in to make life-changing behavioral healthcare more accessible.
Carelon Behavioral Care is a network of clinicians who provide direct care services to help address issues of timely access and treatment. We provide virtual therapy and medication management services to treat a wide range of behavioral health needs.

Bringing care to where it's needed
Access becomes especially important in locations where people have acute needs or where there are not enough mental health providers. In these situations, Carelon Behavioral Care serves as a clinical support system that provides appropriate and timely access to the care people need. Our clinicians can even coordinate ongoing care with an individual’s PCP and community resources.
Empowering people to take charge of their health
Better health requires people to take an active role in their care, and for some, that can be challenging. Our clinicians help people get started and stay engaged. They listen to an individual's needs to understand their unique circumstances, and then work with them to establish a personalized care plan that incorporates whole-person health.
When a person has a care plan and the encouragement to be their own advocate, they’re more likely to get healthy and stay healthy.
